Comparison of Term Life Insurance Premiums for 35 Year Male

In my one of earlier posts I had compared the premium of Term Life Insurance offered by various Insurance companies for a health 28 year old Healthy Non-smoking Male for 25 years insurance. Surprisingly it was one of the most read pages. Subsequently I also received requests for publishing premium rates for other age groups. But its not possible to do it for all age & sex.

So in this post I am publishing the annual premium for a Healthy 35 year Old Non-smoking Male for 25 years term insurance of Rs. 10 Lakhs, 20 Lakhs, 50 Lakhs and 1 Crore.

The table is sorted by Premium Rates for Rs 1 Crore Insurance with lowest premium plan at the top.

The table shows that the cheapest term insurance is still Aegon Religare iTerm Plan with its premium around 30% - 45% less than its nearest competitor (depending on amount of insurance). As for market leader LIC is concerned its premium is almost 2-3 times that of Aegon. The difference is more prominent if you are looking at Higher Insurance Amount. You can read more about Aegon Religare iTerm Plan here

Though cost is a major factor for buying a Life Insurance, you should also look other factors like convenience, claim settlement ratio, riders available among other things.

Disclaimer: The table above is for comparison purpose only & I am not recommending any Plans. You should do your own research or consult a Planner to find a life insurance plan most suited for you.
